Do you know that there are options available that affect the battery? If you click the power icon in the taskbar, the details popup will show the percent of battery remaining.
If you point at the power icon in the taskbar, the tooltip will show the estimated time remaining. There have been quite a few Windows Updates since then - I'm on v and you're only on v That was released a year or so ago so I suggest that you create your own thread as no-one is likely to pick up this one.

I'm suspicious of Apark's answer and wouldn't count on being able to get this OS to install in only two hours. For the sake of comparison though, you can download a Linux Mint ISO and do a full installation including a complete reformatting of your hard drive in less than half an hour.
My install was pretty uneventful on my laptop 2 hrs , but my experience on the desktop was a little buggy. Using suggestions that I found in this forum for the identical issue that I had showing upgrade failed within Windows Update in 8.
I downloaded the update from Windows Update which took about 20 mins , and from that point forward, it was more or less an hour. Now, do I expect everyone's experience to be the same? Once I ran those and restarted, I checked for updates again, and Windows 10 appeared as available, already downloaded. I never received any notification from Microsoft that it was ready. Even if you have to download the upgrade, it didn't take forever granted, I was doing this at am. On my desktop once I corrected my issue, it downloaded almost 5GB in about 20 mins.
